Taxonomy
Pyrausta sp. 6 An unnamed specimen from W. Malaysia (GTE in the HSB-Coll.) Possibly Spilodes fraudulentalis (Warren, 1895: 474).
S. fraudulentalis is treated in Sitochroa Hübner, 1825: 356 and it is possibly a junior subjective syn. of Harpalia flavofasciata (Moore, 1888: 223, pl. 7 fig. 19).

Description
A distinctive purple and brown sp. Note the broad the orange FW post median line and the dark neural spots on the orange termenae of both wings. It differs from Crocidophora fasciata in having no expansions of the FW median line.
Taxonomic Update
This species was previously listed as Pyrausta sp. 6.
